Guilde gives you instant awareness of your data model, load, and dependencies. While building StrongDM, Founder Schuyler Brown met with thousands of engineering teams over the past decade. The rise of specialized DevOps, SRE, & Security teams accidentally created knowledge silos in pursuit of efficiency. Tools like ORMs exacerbated the problem by promising application developers would never need to think about the database. As a result, most application developers don't understand how their code impacts the database and most DevOps teams don't understand how application code works. That creates more bugs, latency and incidents. AI code generation makes this problem exponentially worse by releasing 100x more code. Guilde's goal is to eliminate this risk by arming everyone with the same technical tribal knowledge. Guilde is building the definitive platform to discover, analyze & act on technical tribal knowledge. As a result, senior developers won't have to investigate every incident; new hires will ramp faster; and AI agents will hallucinate less.

Schuyler Brown is a serial founder who loves the scrappy, early days. Before founding Guilde, he co-founded StrongDM where he served as Chief Customer Officer and Chairman of the Board. As a student of startups, Schuyler hosts Founders@Fail and authors Inc.com's "Failing Forward" column interviewing entrepreneurs about the bumps, bruises, and reality of life in the startup trenches. He holds a B.A. and M.B.A. from Columbia University.

John Tokash is CTO of Guilde and specializes in AI and engineering leadership with extensive experience in developing agentic systems and generative AI tools. Currently leading an unannounced AI startup, he previously served as VP of Engineering at Flowspace where he developed AI command center capabilities. John's background includes leadership roles at Booster and co-founding Curious.com as CTO. John is currently hiring full-stack developers who share his enthusiasm for creating cutting-edge AI tools and building at the forefront of technological innovation.
